Do your bit! Unicycle It
School Uniform Recycling Scheme
Unicycle, is a school uniform recycling scheme which offers quality second hand school uniform items, free of charge, to families on the Wirral. We also guarantee that school uniform which cannot be used again will be recycled.
School uniform is a necessity, not fast fashion. However, every year a young person creates 7kg of school uniform waste. On the Wirral, this equates to 350 tonnes of school uniform waste every year! Unicycle can reduce this waste while also supporting families across the Wirral. Let’s think about school uniform differently!
At Unicycle our aim is to distribute kinder, greener school uniforms, reducing both the financial burden of school uniform on households, and the environmental impact on our planet!
How It Works
Parents and Carers donate unwanted school uniform items to Unicycle using donation bins found at their children's school.
Unicycle sort and catalogue donations and add them to the items available to order on the website. Items that cannot be used again are recycled.
Parents and Carers who require school uniform items for their children can order them, free of charge, through the Unicycle website. Orders can be delivered to their home address or collected from school reception.

Donate School Uniform Now!
We are currently working in partnership with New Brighton Primary School.
If you have any unwanted school uniform items you would like to donate to support the scheme you can simply drop them in the collection bin found in school reception.
We kindly ask that all donations are washed and placed inside a bag to help keep them clean and fresh. As our service grows we hope to expand the number of primary schools collaborating with us, and increase the number of donation locations available.
